Hi Kindergarten Families!
Since we can’t be with you today for music class, here are some songs and activities that are similar to what we would work on in music class. Feel free to go through these activities in any order or follow the order listed below.
You should spend about 20 minutes on this music. Have fun!

Step 1 - The “Ice Cream Sundae” story will help us warm-up our singing voices. Play the story. At the end of each part of the story use your voice to make a high or low “mmmm” sound that matches what happens in the story.
Step 2 - Listen to the song “Bill Grogen’s Goat.” Then sing the echoes on the song “Bill Grogen’s Goat.”
Step 3 - Listen to the song “Johnny Had One Friend.” Then sing the song “Johnny Had One Friend.”
Step 4 - Listen to the song “Eensy Weensy Spider.” Then sing the song “Eensy Weensy Spider.” If you know the movements for this song, you can add them while you sing!
Step 5 - Listen to the song “Bling, Blang” and keep the steady beat while you pretend to use a hammer. Then sing the song “Bling, Blang” and keep the steady beat.
Step 6 - Keep the steady beat while listening to the song “Faust, Ballet Music: VII. Allegro.”
Step 7 - Listen to the song story “Jennie Jenkins.”
