2nd Grade Remote Learning
April 14, 15, 16, & 17
Hi, 2nd Grade!
All the 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade students at Field have the same learning activity for music this week. This means it would be great if you could do this together with any brothers or sisters you have who go to Field School.
This week you are going to be thinking about a song that you learned from a grown-up in your family. When we are young, grown-ups often teach us songs that they learned when they were kids or songs that are important to our families. Think about a song that a grown-up in your family taught you. Here are helpful things to think about:
- It could be a song lots of people know like the Itsy Bitsy Spider or Happy Birthday or it could be a song that not too many people know. Both are great!
- It could be a song that is in English or it could be a song that is in another language.
- It could be a song you sing for fun whenever you feel like it or a song that you sing for a special celebration or holiday.
- This could be a song any grown-up in your family taught you. It could be a mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, grown-up cousin, and anyone else in your family who is a grown-up!
After you have thought of a song you learned from a grown-up in your family, please fill out the Google Form. If you have brothers and sisters, work with your brothers and sisters to fill out the Google form.
IF you have more than one song you want to share with us, please fill out separate forms for each song.
IF you and your brothers and sisters have different songs you want to share, you can fill out separate forms.
EVERYONE will need to ask a grown-up at home to answer the last three questions of the survey.
If you need help, there are examples below the form for you to look at. Have fun!
